The focus of this Blog Post is to Let you guys know a little bit about myself, through The Proust Questionnaire. I found this to be an interesting questionnaire and many of the questions were ones I had not seen in the past, so enjoy.
__1.__What is your idea of perfect happiness? I’d love to just stretch out on a crystal clear beach, with some Notorious B.I.G playing and a mojito in hand, non alcoholic of course. __2.__What is your greatest fear? My biggest fear in life is dying before my significant other does. I feel like that would be the most devastating thing that could occur in one’s lifetime. __3.__What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? If I could just not be forgetful for one day in my life. There has been so many things that have not ended in my favor, whether it’s being locked out of my house for two days, or missing my application deadline for college. I partially blame my numerous concussions for this predicament I have, but still I wish I could remember more. __4.__What is the trait you most deplore in others? The worst thing is when I try to have a conversation with people and they decide to play on their phone the entire time. I know in today's day in age people are more attached to phones than ever, but individuals can go without it for ten minutes as we converse. __5.__Which living person do you most admire? My mother is the person I most admire, and I know that is corny and a fairly basic answer, but she is the strongest women I have ever known. She has suffered through a multitude of serious leg injuries, has had to go back to college in her early forties, and on top of that managed to raise four children. Without her I would not be where I am in life right now. __6.__What is your greatest extravagance? I would say that food would be my greatest extravagance. I am the type of individual that adds a bunch of extra things to my food purchases. Whether its my constant addition of bacon, or the addition of extra cheese and a plethora of other tasty additions, I can never get the cheapest thing on the menu. __7.__What is your current state of mind? Very good, everyone in my family is healthy, I have a great group of friends and a caring girlfriend, so absolutely no complaints. __8.__What do you consider the most overrated virtue? I do not feel any are overrated. __9.__On what occasion do you lie? I try my best not to lie about anything because I know that once I get caught in a lie once, I would not be trusted after that. I only lie to hide surprises because I enjoy surprising people. __10.__What do you most dislike about your appearance? My scrawniness. I absolutely cannot stand how skinny I am, no matter how much I lift and workout I can never get to a point where I look remotely muscular. __11.__Which living person do you most despise? My grandma, she has said and done so many things to me in my lifetime that are unforgivable if I never have to talk to her again I will die happy. __12.__What is the quality you most like in a man? Emotionally strong, humorous, unique, independent, not overly aggressive, and a great person to conversation __13.__What is the quality you most like in a woman? Strong, funny, independent, a good listener, caring, good to converse with __14.__Which words or phrases do you most overuse? I use all the classic Delaware County slang terms way too much. I can be in a serious conversation with someone and say that something is “drawlin” or that something is a “jawn”. __15.__What or who is the greatest love of your life? I can honestly say that my current girlfriend is the greatest love that I have had. I have known her for years and no one knows me as well as she does. We have been dating for a relatively long time, and I hope that it can last even longer. __16.__When and where were you happiest? My first day of college at East Stroudsburg was probably my happiest. The feeling of being on your own in a new environment was something that I loved and thrived on. I was thinking of the many ways my life could go from that point forward, due to finances I was unable to live out those fantasies, but that moment of independence was great. __17.__Which talent would you most like to have? I wish I was able to sing, and I always have. It seems to be something that if I was able to do i could show off a great deal, plus I just think it would be cool. __18.__If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? My scrawniness, I wish I had some muscular physique. __19.__What do you consider your greatest achievement? Being inducted into the National Hall Honorary at East Stroudsburg was definitely my greatest achievement. It required a lot of hard work and a lot of hard nights of studying, but I was able to get in. Only one percent of the campus was even available for it and from there, there was more of a selection process. __20.__If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? A panda, because I would be able to just hangout in a zoo all day and not have to do anything but relax. __21.__Where would you most like to live? I would love to live on the beach, not necessarily in a mansion, but just on the beach. Being able to go to the beach on a daily basis is one of my goals in life. Plus waking up to the sound of the ocean would be stupendous. __22.__What is your most treasured possession? My bucket hat collection is easily my most treasured possession. I have enough hats to wear a unique one each and every day of the week. __23.__What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? The death of a loved one is the worst feeling in my mind. There is no one that I would wish this upon, not even my greatest enemy. __24.__What is your favorite occupation? Emergency Planning would be my ideal occupation. Being able to take a complex scenario such as an emergency, and breaking it down into step by step processes is something I find very intriguing. __25.__What is your most marked characteristic? Most people are able to recognize me by obnoxious laugh. It has been described as a cackle by some, but I think that it is my unique characteristic. __26.__What do you most value in your friends? The ability to be there for each other. What is the point of having friends if they are unable to help you out when you need them too. __27.__Who are your favorite writers? Brian Windhorst of ESPN is easily my favorite writer. He writes columns on the NBA and the way he articulates his points in an easily digestible way is something that I greatly enjoy. __28.__Who is your hero of fiction? I am a big fan of anti-heroes, so my hero of fiction would be Bojack Horseman, from Bojack Horseman on Netflix. I love how he tries to find himself throughout the show, whilst doing flagrantly awful things, but for some reason the viewer still feels sympathy for him. His alcoholism and constant drug use makes for some interesting plot points and speaks to how addiction and the struggles of society can impact one’s mental state. __29.__Which historical figure do you most identify with? This may sound nerdy, but Thomas Jefferson. His interpretation of the Constitution is almost exactly how I see it. __30.__Who are your heroes in real life? My parents are heroes to me, obviously, as they have struggled through so many things just to make sure that me and my siblings would be taken care of. __31.__What are your favorite names? I like the name Bob for no inexplicable reason other than I just like how it sounds. __32.__What is it that you most dislike? I hate when people are hateful towards others based on prejudgment. So many people have gone through things that we do not know about, and judging them based off race, ethnicity, or sex to me is just inexcusable. __33.__What is your greatest regret? I live life without regrets, what happens in the past is in the past, you have to be able to move on and grow as a person. __34.__How would you like to die? Preferably not violently. __35.__What is your motto? Personal growth is the key to personal well being.
